The Steading at Hearthstanes Estate is excited to welcome you! Hearthstanes Estate is a working hill farm within the picturesque Tweedsmuir Hills and adjacent to the only Wild Land area of the Scottish Borders. The farm is located along both sides of the renowned River Tweed, yet still within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Newcastle. We offer five excellent self-catering holiday cottages within the Hearthstanes Steading, a range of traditional stone farm buildings dating back to the 1600s.
