James Sheppard has 12 years experience in the trade, having been first an apprentice and second an assistant to Fergus Wessel, Stone Letters Ltd. James is highly skilled in V cut and relief methods of carving for lettering and symbols. During his time with Fergus, James worked on a number of projects for a wide variety of clientele including long standing institutions, universities and the gentry, where his work has been greatly received and much appreciated. James has also worked on hundreds of projects from headstones and plaques to carvings in situ and once a large obelisk sun dial.
