Welcome to Colchester Wado Ryu Karate. Wadoryu Karate is the style of Japan’s foremost Karate master, Hironori Ohtsuka. Established in 1965, our club is one of the longest-established Wado Ryu groups in the UK. We teach adults from all walks of life, as well as children from the age of 10. It doesn’t matter what level you are at, our classes are tailored for both beginners and seasoned martial artists alike. We have very high standards, and all of our classes are taught by Wado Ryu Karate Association qualified instructors. Our aim is to give our students the best possible start in life by teaching confidence and discipline. We also teach self defence and resilience. Our karate club offers classes Monday to Saturday.
