We are providers of TM44 Air Conditioning Energy Assessments which are a legal requirement to ensure building owners or occupiers are compliant with the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) legislation. A TM44 is required where a single air conditioning system or multiple systems are installed in a building with a combined rated output of 12kW or more. Having an air conditioning system inspected by a government accredited assessor helps equipment operators improve system efficiency, reduce energy consumption and lower running costs. The penalty for failing to have a TM44 Air Conditioning Inspection is currently £300. Recurring further penalties can be issued for each failure to provide a valid inspection report and certificate when requested by an enforcement officer.
