With its idiosyncratic hand-cut wooden typefaces and unique rendering, letterpress is carving a fervent following as the more characterful and infinitely more cool cousin to modern printing. Coupled with amazing paper stocks and vivid inks, the press is able to de-boss and create striking marks on the paper, each impression being almost imperceptibly unique. It’s a lengthy process with the card hand fed through the press a number of times for each element or colour impression but the distinctive results speak for themselves.
