As of April 2021, private-rented-sector (PRS) landlords are legally required to perform electrical safety inspections for new and existing specified tenancies. Landlords have the option to engage a contractor listed on the PRS Register or identify a competent professional by following the government's guidelines for Electrical Installation Condition Reporting. Electrical safety certificates may also be required by commercial clients for insurance purposes.
Covering rental properties, student accommodations, and commercial premises, our NICEIC-approved contractors will complete a thorough check of your property. Upon completion, we will either provide safety certification if approved or make recommendations for remedial work and repairs to meet the required standard.
